You can't go wrong with gift cards. I never lose them and always spend them down to the penny. Since Oscar season is upon us, how about a movie card? I most often go to the Cinemark/Century Theater in Evanston. AMC Theaters also are convenient.
Other good gift card choices include Borders, Barnes & Noble, REI, Dick's Sporting Goods and Target.
